Another quick question - what is your opinion on giving your puppy treats while potty training? I've heard conflicting views... Some think that it's okay and a good way to reward them for doing something right, but others say it's bad to get them thinking that every time they go to the bathroom, they're going to get a treat. i don't think using food as a reward for going out side is always good. a few dogs start doing something called fake peeing. they look like they're going but they aren't really and they just do that to come in and get a treat. or they go in very small portions so they can get more treats than usual. good luck!
