I was in the same boat recently.. I have a little male diva that was about a year when I brought his sister/companion home. Tino was a potty training dream and I was sooo scared I was going to upset the apple cart. I kept them separated when I wasnt home just bc of safety issues mainly, but I used a ex pen and put her pad up against his since I knew that eventually they would be sharing. THese are some pics...
Just another thing... you can expect your oldest to hate you and to pout incessantly for about a good week since he is spoiled and has been the only shild for a year. AND don't be suprised if they don't turn into "siblings" .... I just assumed this would be their relationship, but even though Tino is neutered and Bunny will be spayed... they are totally NOT big brother and little sister... its more like bossy wife and submissive husband that loves every minute of it! I can tell you that first week was H*LL and I was freaking out, but now they are IN LOVE and can't stand to be separated in different rooms! Good luck! |
