Cowboy magic is great!!! I just love it. My maltese gets matted easier than Benji and the cowboy magic helps a lot. Also, there are combs that work really well to get the matts out. Villette recommended one to me at the YT meetup and I went and purchased one and it is amazing. I am not sure what it is called but it is a comb with two different size prongs.
