Tink has been acting strangely since we got home on Friday night. not eating and yesterday not even drinking. She was panting really hard last night and it eventually turned into croupy coughing and sneezing. About 1:00 this morning she had massive diarhea and started crying.
I took her to the emergency vet and they kept her.
When I called this morning, the vet told me that he thinks she has histoplasmosis -a fungal respiratory disease but he's stumped that she should get it so badly since she was perfectly healthy. They are running some tests and feeding her with a syringe since she won't eat. She is so sick, she's just limp.
But when I hold her she wants to lick me!
Please send up some prayers for her. She's my little lover girl and I really need her to get better. She's such a little treasure.
I get to go see her at 8:00 for 30 minutes tonight. I'll post more when I know something. Thanks for all the prayers that I know will go up for my Tinkerbelle.
