I first got my Maltese, Codie, and he was totally potty trained in about 1 month! It was amazing! Then I got my little terror ... umm, oops ... I mean Yorkie, Katie, and it was almost impossible to potty train her! It took me a long time and she had MANY accidents all over the house and even on my leather couch and on my bed - seriously. But during that time, Codie NEVER followed in her little foot steps and broke his training. He has never had an accident and is really fantastic about using his wee wee pads. Now my Katie is perfectly potty trained. But it did take patience on my part and CONSISTENCY. So I would recommend definitely getting another baby Yorkie - it's worth it!
