That sucks! I'm lucky my neighborhood is rather ''small dog friendly'', there is a maltese across from me, a bichon on one side of me, a dog that looks like ''Eddie" from "Frasier" and I usually see atleast one other yorkie walking. It's really the ''big'' dogs that gets pointed out and somewhat talked about [in a negative way].
I'd def limit the furbaby to walks in an enclosed backyard or in the house if there are big dogs roaming around the neighborhood.
