Hey there Everyone,
I just got off the phone with Becca a short time ago. she sounded depressed. Seems Mikey does not want to eat again. The nurses are getting nervous. Telling Becca she is not feeding Mikey right and everything. Well, I had a talk with her. I asked what the feeding schedual was like. She told me that they have her putting Mikey to breast for 30 minutes then give him a bottle for 30 minutes and then they tube feed the rest. I asked how often this is done. She said every 3 hours. WEll darn if I was eating for an hour plus and i had to eat in a little over an hour. Darn I would not be hungry either. It is almost like a continous feed. IF I am wrong please someone tell me. But I am remembering back when I was breast feeding my kids years ago. They were to feed on demand. Bottle fed baby(only one of mine bottle fed) he ate every 4 hours. Honestly I think they are over feeding him. MPO. So I guess they have to work on him eating right in order to hopefully be released this weekend.
so again I am praying he does not have a set back. I guess that is all of an update I have so far. Oh and they also told my daughter to get a boppy pillow for him. He is layign down to much and that might have something to do with his food not going through him fast enough. By the sounds of it they are guessing again.
Gotta run Babybear needs to be fed. And he needs some therapy. He has been a little lazy bones today.
