Hallee is crated when we are gone. We have the bigger black one because it was given to us. She has plenty of room for her bed, some toys and water and little food. Probably really too big for her, but she has so much room, being only 4lbs. She does not go potty in her cage. We used to put pee pads in there but she would just shred them to pieces. I come home at lunch and let her out to go potty. Gracie on the other hand gets to roam part of the house. My hubby made our own doggy gaets that swing open and shut and of course latch out of oak. Gracie has access to computer room that Hallee is crated in and our bedroom. Hallee is the trouble maker and gets into everything. Gracie will follow her into trouble. We can trust Gracie not to get into anything. For the most part, I think they sleep all day. We have thought about doing the doggie cam just to spy on them to see what they do all day.
