Peppy went through a bout of bloody diarreah about 3 weeks ago. We made a n emerbency visit to our regular vet -- lots of tests and blood work - all normal. Final diagnosis -- gastro-instestinal upset. They rested his tummy for 48 hours -- no food or water by mouth so he was on a periodic IV.
Peppy went from being perfectly OK to dripping fresh red blood from his rectum within a matter of a couple of hours and through it all he never acted like he felt bad..... |
