I have read that Borax is very toxic and animals should not be allowed in the room when you use it. I had never heard that it removes stains but people swear it does kill fleas. I bought a box of it a few moths ago but I have been afraid to use it. I have a lot of cats and 3 dogs in the house. It would be too hard to treat the carpet and keep them out of the room.
