I was just browsing some ads for cabin rentals, and saw the "no pets allowed" bit in the ad.

So I was wondering, how do most of you deal with things like that? If your yorkie is housebroken, do you ask places if it is okay to bring your dog--explaining that your dog does fine, and risk them saying no, or do you just do it? This is the first time we have had a dog, so I've never gone to stay anywhere with her.

Just thought it would be interesting to find out how others deal with "no dogs allowed!"
