We did live off post but we where living like 40 min away from the hospital, so when I was like 3 or 4 months preg...we moved on post to be closer to the hospital and so if I needed anything, hubby would not be that fair away.
Plus if I go into labor, hubby can just swing by and pick me up and we can head to the hospital. Thats if its not a really busy day for him at work..He is a MP (Military police) so you never know when a dumb butt comes in drinking and driving (There has been a lot of those lately). |
I lived on Base too, when i had my first born son, it was 60km to the Army Hospital, so when i went in to labor, i got to ride in a Helicopter as it was in the middle of Winter and it was snowing. Was so exited i never had 1 pain on the way
