Yorkies, even as adults, don't get beyond the toddler stage. Would you leave your toddler alone in the house to chew on electrical cords, would you leave your toddler alone in your backyard without supervision, would you fall asleep and let your toddler do whatever toddler's do when their not supervised??
I feel that if your life is too busy to watch a dog 24/7 (at least when you're home (obviously you would have other arrangements when you are at work) - then maybe you're not a candidate to own a Yorkie.

I do not normally post because I, myself am new, but the reason I am here is because of a lost (stolen) Yorkie... I do blame myself for the fact that he is gone but I know deep, deep down there is nothing I could have done to prevent it. This thread really broke my heart
