Stella was spayed yesterday and they removed 9 teeth
I had been dreading the spay and knew some teeth were to be removed but was surprised at 9!
She's a tough little girl, she ate a little canned food when we got home around 6:00. The vet sent a syringe of pain meds home for last night which I gave her around 11:30, she wasn't whimpering or anything just seemed a little restless. She hasn't had any pain meds today and I've had to really be on my toes to keep her from jumping on the sofa...it's a real job keeping a 4.5 lb furbaby still.
I don't remember who had the onesie idea but it's working great, she has stitches on the inside and the incision is glued on the outside. The vet told us licking could cause this to open so the onesie has taken care of that problem, and another plus is she looks so darn cute in it. Thanks to YT I felt a little more secure going into this...and knew you would be there if I had a question.
