If they are not itching or showing any signs of allergy, then the chicken will be fine. I don't give mine chicken because they will get diarrhea from it. I use free range ground beef and ground lamb. I cook those and add to rice, split peas, lentils (that I cook all together) and grated carrots. I also make them steel cut oats and add steamed broccoli. I mix that in thier food for breakfast. I make healthy powder from Dr. Pitcairns book, and then add vitamin A, E and glucosimine chondroitin. If their stools look too light then they will get iron as well.
