I would like to say thanks for all the advices and love that everyone has given me. I enjoyed every moment of YT and can no longer visit this site again. I am scheduled for surgery on July 12th and if the surgery doesn't turn out the way doctors wanted it then I have to start chemotherapy. I opted for the surgery instead of chemo first because there is a 50% chance that things might turn out positive for me.
As far as Buttercup, I don't know what I'll do with him and I don't know what I'll do without him. After my surgery, it would be hard for me to take him out to go potty, play with him, or even bend down to pick him up. My husband is the working type (the type that is never home) and doesn't have time to care for Buttercup. If I don't find a solution, then I will probably give him up to a rescue.
