No, I don't think that's bad. But does the Avid Company have your information listed for Cody?
The reason I ask is because when we got Lucky, our rescue Shih Tzu, the rescue had him microchipped with Avid and gave us the paperwork to fill out and send in with our information.
Rudy, our Yorkie got microchipped at the vet's the same time he was neutered and he has a Home Again microchip.
