I have a gal that I got out of a kennel in KY three monthes ago. She was separated too early from her mom when she was a pup and pretty much kept alone for breeding until she was 18 monthes old. She's such a sweetie and desperately wants to be excepted by the rest of my pack but her mother never taught her the proper way to invite play or how to show that you know your place in the pack. If you watch a mother with her pups after they have been weaned you will see her instructing them and helping them to develop their personalities and skills properly. I hope you win in your bid to get the breeder to hold onto them a bit longer. It's hard work keeping these pups until they are 12 weeks old, I know I have 7 of them to pick up after, but it's worth it. They will turn out to be better balanced, happier pups as adults.
