I also think the price varies from place to place (city, state ,etc), whether it be a ''show quality puppy'' or ''pet quality''. Of course, it's also the people selling who want to make more money-but if it's the only place for you to get a puppy, then some people WILL pay that amount of money.

I'd say no more than $2000 for a non-show puppy [going by where I live]..
