With the recent increase in missing and injured Yorkies!!! maybe it's time to discuss the fact that owning a Yorkie isn't all about dressing them in cute clothes, taking adorable pictures of them, and posting them on YT.
Yorkies, even as adults, don't get beyond the toddler stage. Would you leave your toddler alone in the house to chew on electrical cords, would you leave your toddler alone in your backyard without supervision, would you fall asleep and let your toddler do whatever toddler's do when their not supervised??
I feel that if your life is too busy to watch a dog 24/7 (at least when you're home (obviously you would have other arrangements when you are at work) - then maybe you're not a candidate to own a Yorkie.
I'm sure to get a LOT of flack about this post!! |
