I have to say that two is a comfortable amount for one single person. Like you said, it's easy to scoop them up and out of harm's way if you need to. It's also easier to care for them, walk them, or to let them ride in a doggy-bag. Dog car seats will also work great when they're coupled in it. I have 2 dog carseats so my babies share it coupled with each other and they work fabulous. But trying to squeeze 3 babies into one seat is uncomfortable for them - and that would leave one baby to sit all alone in the second carseat.
Three, for one person, may be a crowd. I have 3 (human) family members in my house - me, my mom, and my sister. We all look out for our 5 dogs, but even still, 4 yorkies, who live inside, are a handful! And it can be downright hardwork when you're alone with all of them to manage!
I'd consider this carefully. Collecting yorkies can become addicting and you have to realize whether you're doing it because you're still in a comfort zone with getting more, or you're simply trying to get more and more and more puppies because it seems like a good idea at the time. |
