If health checks of the parents and puppies were available and testing was done, AND I could see the home, parents, etc...I would pay more than usual for a puppy without papers. After reading on this site for awhile, it is much more important to me to get the health history of the parents/line and to make sure I am buying from a reputable breeder than it is to have AKC papers.
