Same thing happened to Lillybelle when she was spayed. She gained almost 1.5lbs within a few months. She had weighed about 4lbs, and was spayed at 1 and half years of age. Her vet said it was perfectly normal that she gained weight after being spayed...she weighs about 5.5lbs now...she's not really bigger in stature, but rounder and heavier....I was feeding her exactly the same food before and after spaying, we walk a mile or so 3-4 times a week, play in back yard daily. Not a thing changed. |
