I had taken Mojo and Lily to the vet the other day and the vet right off the bat noticed that Mojo had gained weight. Yep, he sure has. Since his neuter, he has gained almost a pound.
We are feeding Canidea, he only gets 1/3cup throughout the day. We will do half in the morning and half later, when we eat our dinner. We add not even 1/2tsp of Missing Link to his food in the morning. (none in the evening portion). He only gets Yorkie Yummies treats when I am working with him (training, photos,etc) and on occassion, a little piece of Canidea biscuit or Pupcorn.
We are active, but can be more active....can't we all??!! He loves to go outside, etc.
What else can I do to get his weight back down to where he should be. The vet didn't seem too concerned and seemed to think our feeding habit was okay. So, she really didn't give me too much advice.
Please help.
