What makes you think so? The vet said she was not contracting.

What about the weight? Did it take a while for your 57 day puppies to put on weight? I do think since they survived 2 and 1/2 days they have a good chance of surviving, but the lack of weight gain on the little girls part makes me VERY nervous.
