I think she would fit in it..Lacy fits in hers and she's 7lbs. If she lays down, she just fits in it..but her body is almost too long for it. I don't really know about the bucket seat thing...I just read somehwere about it being for cars with bucket seats. I think my console might just be a little too short for it because I can't get it to stay on there well. I'm not going to keep Lacy's carseat in the backseat - she'll be in the passanger seat beside me because I don't normally have anyone else in the car with me.
