Pretty sad commentary when my dog gets clean water three times a day and there is a whole continent of people in Africa who may never have had ANY in their whole lives ...
You were good to try and round up those pups. There just is no justice sometimes.
And yes, it's very sad that there are so many animals that get the short straw. But people do, too. I was reading an article the other day about the disproportionate distribution of the world's wealth. The article said that if the collective wealth of the world was divided evenly among everybody, we'd each have $3.something million EACH.
That would ensure that a whole lot of creatures -- both two- and four-legged -- lived dramatically better lives.
