I won't give my dogs anything chewy like these, rawhides, pigs ears, hooves, cornstarch bones, etc. because that can happen! We stick to Nylabones and Kongs with stuff inside. That way, I know they can't choke.
We had a pretty bad scare with Emma once, and luckily my husband can think quick on his feet-he saved her life by getting a chunk of rawhide out of her throat. I haven't tried flossies or bully sticks, I don't think it's worth the risk. |
