I don't use any sprays, and my yorkie is actually a male..
but I do have a jack russell terrier at my parent's house named Bella who is not spayed and actually just finished off her last heat cycle. Dogs are definitely in heat for a long time...3 weeks sounds accurate (my dad wants me to go get her spayed already because she spots alll over the kitchen floor for the longest time. poor dad...surrounded by my mom, my 2 sisters, me, and Bella. ALL GIRLS! My boyfriend & Luigi-my yorkie, are his only male acquaintances that come around the house a lot haha) Ok, but ANYWAY...they only get it every couple months or so...so i guess it compensates for the time span.
