My vet did the first stool testing a couple weeks ago when Luigi was having a small case of diarrhea, and I found out he had some hookworms. He got some medication for it this week and I turned in a 2nd stool specimen yesterday for them to recheck if he still has the worms (now i'm just waiting for the results). I had to pay $50 for EACH test, even the rechecking one.
I'm just wondering if this price range is normal or if I should be outraged haha. How much do you all pay for the tests? (i hope that's not too rude to ask
) I just hope he doesn't have anything else wrong and that the worms are freaking gone, because I don't want to cough up ANOTHER $50 for them to recheck his stool again!
