I can tell you from personal experience not to bathe too often. It's hard not to when they are little as they tend to get doggie smell for some reason. Try not to bathe any more than once every two to four weeks. Frequent bathing dries out the skin. Teeth should be brushed as often as you can, preferably daily. (I don't, but many do). Keep the nails trimmed. Do that with each bath or about every 4-6 weeks. Clean inside the ears at each bath. Don't forget to apply the flea and tick preventative a few days after the bath. What I find the easiest for all of the body stuff is simply to take Gracie to the groomer every 6-8 weeks. I give her a couple of baths at home in between but don't really bother with anything else other than the teeth and the "flea juice". I also brush Gracie every couple of days, usually her top knot gets done every day.
