Does the Borax work on old stains? I usually use Spot Shot on stains on my carpet, but I'm not sure it's for pet stains. Once when I had my carpets professionally cleaned they told me not to use Resolve because it leaves a residue on the carpet that dirt sticks to. They recommended Spot Shot, it works well on stains that my kids get on the carpet.
I think Borax is in the laundry section at the store.
