I'm so saddened that this issue still has not been addressed and resolved. What a shame.
If you shop on ebay there is a rating system for buyers to know if they are dealing with a reputable person. I find that to be a very important tool for my protection. It tells me the person I am making the purchase from is responsible and will send me the product I purchased in the condition it was advertised to be.
I feel the same principal applies here for people who are looking for a breeder. Negative reviews are just as important as the positive ones and more importantly, there needs to be an explanation of how the problem was resolved. Problems happen and if the seller corrects the problem to the buyers satisfaction it builds confidence in future clients.
As for the AKC paper. Here is a different way of looking at it... It's like a certificate of authenticity for an autographed memorabila, an antique or collector's item. It's proof that your puppy is an AKC puppy as advertized.
When Michiko first started this thread, I felt as long as the problem was solved privately, I don't need to know how it was resolved. But after this many posts and days has passed, I do feel Stacy does need to address the issues and post an explanation (for potential future customers) if she wants to continue to grow her business here on Yorkie Talk. With each post and day that passes without a resolution, she is hurting herself more and more.
On the other hand with all the demand for Yorkie puppies, I don't doubt she will do just fine by advertising in other media outside of Yorkie Talk.
This just makes me feel really sad for all parties involved including Stacy. |
