Okay, I have a problem that many people have probably not dealt with before. Was hoping someone here could help. My grandmother has been having a beautiful yorkie companion for many years in her apartment. She always took her for a walk to poo and pee outside. However, her health is deteriorating and she can no longer take her out 3 times a day. She doesn't want to give the dog away and can't afford a dog walker. She's trying to get the dog to do its business inside on newspaper but the poor thing will hold it for a whole day until my grandmother gives in and takes her out. Is there any advice I could give her, I can't think of anything? I feel so bad, the yorkie is my grandmothers only companion and she doesn't want to see it suffer. Should she just wait it out? We tried putting some of her pee on the newspaper but she still won't go on it.
