My hubby is on a Tarantula forum, and he has told me if you are worried to google up the pic of the snake to get a match. He also says he has loads of Spider mates who have snakes, and if needed they can identify your snake for you if you are not sure, and the dog continues to be unwell.
This applies to anyone else who has a problem with a snake which needs identifying.
Just pm me if needed, or contact The British Tarantula Society forum by putting the name on google - Kenny is my hubby and is a moderator, and he will help you, as he has loads of mates in this field from all over the world, and the US.
I hope your Yorkie is alright, and gets better soon without any cause for concern.
