What exactly is a top line and what did she mean by that? Is it something that isn't obvious at so many weeks and how do you know if your dog has a good one?

I'm sorry if this is a silly question - I'm really just wondering.
she meant her back, the area between her neck and tail. It should be level. No dip, in the middle, or high or low in the rear. The tail should be coming directly out of the spine. A puppy with a good topline should remain such, however, on some occassions they can go off.

Got to YTCA.org, they offer an illustrated book on the standard, that you can purchase
