 IS something wrong?
Marina, Gracie became very sleepy and unlike herself last spring. She wouldn't even chase her ball (her favorite activity) but just laid on the sofa and slept. After a few days I became concerned (even though she was eating fine) and took her to the vet. Turns out her anal glands were full and causing discomfort! I couldn't believe it. The vet hit the nail right on the head. As soon as he expressed them (internal glands--groomers expres the external ones but by law in our state are not allowed to do the internal ones--who knew?), she was immediately back to her old self--even chased a ball around the vet's office. |
