I've had this happen with Emma. She is a yorkie jack russel terrier mix and not many people in this area have seen that combination.

When she was a puppy I was out walking her with Bentley and she weighed under 3 lbs. An older couple drove by slowing down every time they would pass (they kept going around the block).

Finally the man rolled down his window and asked if I would sell her to them. He said he could pay whatever I wanted for her right away. I politely told them that she is NOT for sale.

His wife, who had to be in her 50's at least, threw a total hissy fit and started yelling at her husband and at me screaming about how she wanted this dog. I was totally freaked out, so I kept walking and my hubby was with me and told them to leave us alone, and that she wasn't for sale again.

Then they asked where we got her, and I told them, but said that they were not breeding anymore.. they had done it a few times and were retiring their two pets and having them fixed.

So, then they screeched away in their car, and circled the block a few more times. Some people are just a whole lotta crazy!!
