By the way, great fireworks shots! We had some lightening along with our fireworks too last night. |
You know, the shutter delay was one of the chief complaints I had about digital cameras in general. A few friends would occasionally thrust their cameras into my hands during the past few years and in every case, I had exactly the experience you describe -- moment lost or subject gone by the time you get it to snap.
Digital cameras DO have a delay. That's just one of the trade-offs I guess of getting to see immediately what you did get. But, with this camera, I have only had one or two cases where the lag was significant enough to do that and I've shot I don't know how many frames thus far. So, it has been pretty minimal.
I've even thought before that I did lose the image and when I reviewed it, why there was what I had in front of me!
I just gush about this camera. It may not be for everyone, but I really do love it. Do some online searches and read the reviews. Amazon had a good price on it recently. But whatever you do,
don't buy this camera -- or anything else -- from
