I don't think that we are "owed" an explanation, but if I were in the market to be buying a new puppy and read this thread, I would definitely want some sort of response to the issue to be able to read along w/all the positive threads about her. So, I can see the value of her responding to this for future buyers.

I completely understand that things come up in life, but all Stacy would have had to do is to email or call Michiko letting her know what was up... she seems super understanding and I'm sure she would have rather resolved it in any way than posting this thread.

I don't know the OP or the breeder personally enough to take sides, so that is not what I am doing at all.. I'm just saying that I can see why others on yt would want an explanation, or even just to know that Stacy is alright via a response on this thread or forum.

I feel very sympathetic for the breeder if something is going on, but in my opinion it does not excuse absolutely no communication with a past buyer to resolve an issue as big as this one. There is always access to a phone, if not the internet.. or there is always the mail...the breeder could have chosen to at least let the OP know what was going on.
