Well, I have to confess..... it's all my fault!
Seriously, three years ago when we were building our house, it rained so much that construction ended up taking over a year. We closed on the construction loan in February and finally got to pour the slab at the end of July (because of all the rain). Then it rained more and more and more. We were so pushing our deadline that I didn't know what we were gonna do. Ended up having to extend the closing several times until they said no more. It was the biggest, nastiest mess ever! I said, many times, that you just watch.... once we move in we'll have a drought for years! Well, looks like the drought is over. We've been in the house for 2 years this past June and the rain decided to come again!
And yes, my yard is a jungle..... Tatum hates to pee in the grass (but she's a tough girl and does it anyway) because the grass is up to the top of her back in some places! But hey, at least it's GREEN!!
