Lightbulb Yorkie Rescue in the Southeast

Hello all,
I don't post often as I'm so busy rescuing yorkies in FL/GA/AL that I just don't have time! But I thought I'd post here today since I've recently had soooo many little homeless yorkies come into rescue. Sadly, this is the time of year when folks dump their dogs - it happens every year. And it doesn't coincide with available foster homes as many foster homes want the 'summer off' from rescuing. UYR currently has NO available foster homes in FL, and we don't even have members in AL or GA, so when we hear of yorkies there in need, we can only cross-post in the hopes of helping.

So I'm posting here to see if anybody in FL/GA/AL would like to either help out United Yorkie Rescue by fostering, transporting and/or checking on pups that are in shelters in peril of being PTS. I know that there are members of other yorkie rescue groups on here and all of them are full, too. But since we're all together here because we love yorkies, I just wanted to go out on a limb and see if I could invoke some interest in helping out rescued yorkies.

Thanks so much everyone - and hope you all have a happy and safe July 4th!
