Yay for Gracie! I was so proud of Tatum too. We've worked really hard to make sure she's not sensitive to these things (like thunder also). My husband lit some firecrackers and she ran to get in the door to come to me but then when we actually started the fireworks, she just sat on my lap real quiet and actually watched them. Last year I had to really hold her tight and talk to her the whole time so she wouldn't crawl up my neck but she did great this year. Stormie (our Aust. Shep), on the other hand, just laid behind me on the porch and hid her head! She's barely two years old though so hopefully she'll be better next time also.
