 Start Weening????
Gidget has started leaving the puppies more and more for longer periods of time. The puppies are 3 weeks old now. They are still gaining and doing just great, but she only nurses them standing up for short periods and long periods in-between.
Emilee stayed with them and nursed until they were at least 4.5 to 5 weeks old. Should I start giving them some gruel or wait as long as possible. Tell me your thoughts, please.
