okay, after 7 hours, I managed to feed it and got it to drink water. I played with it for half an hour, then made sure it peed on the newspaper and went to bed after it settled and got tired. it's now 1.51am.
honestly, i was scared that it was going to fall into hypoglycemia. the signs were all there - puppy wasn't really that warm, shivers, lack of appetite, weakness...but seeing it playing and all hyper just now really relaxed me.
if a puppy wakes up in the middle of the night, should i wake up, play with it until it falls back to sleep? |
