I made it up town for a while to catch our local fireworks display. For the first time in my life, I shot pictures of one. (The new camera even has a fireworks setting.) I'm sure this is probably not new for a lot of you, but since I've only had the new digital for a little less than 2 months, I can't help but be in awe.
I had no idea at the time, but when I got home to download them, I had shot 126 frames.
And I wasn't even there for the entire display.
Also, we had a few storms earlier this evening. While the rain stopped, the lightning stuck around. So, if you look in the bottom right hand corner of the first shot, you'll be able to see a bit of Mother Nature's handiwork as well.
