As I said, I didn't mean to come across as rude. But you said "I know he must have gotten hurt , but I cant stand this crying" My compassion was for him. I understand that accidents happen but surely you can understand why he is crying.
I thought that he was inside when he got stepped on. Thanks for clarifying. Keeping him on a leash like you said is a good idea when outside.
Just keep a close eye on him because he could still have internal injuries.
