hmm ... i feed the regular innova, i was worried that Evo might be too high in protein for my guy b/c he has had problems with soft poopies (sorry) and thought the high protein might upset his stomach. My dog didn't do well on Nutro b/c of the corn, it made him really itchy.
your vet gave it to you so i think it should be oky. just watch him and see how he is... like his poops, his behavior, any weird changes, and b/c its higher in protein you may be able to feed him smaller servings (i would check with your vet b/c this is just my assumption) ... my concern would only be if your pup needs to be on a low protein diet due to MVD or some other liver problem, but if he's a healthy pup, i don't see why not feed it to him, esp if he eats it and likes.
as pple know with picky eaters. lol.
