My little Minnie is the exact same way. She always has severe reactions to the boosters. We can't pick her up without her yelping either, for the whole night after a shot... it's so sad! (the next day she's always back to normal) The vet that I work for, says as long as their gums are pink... they're fine. If their gums turn white, then they're in shock from the vaccination & get them to the vet immediately!

We started giving Minnie benedryl when she gets boosters now & that helps a lot! In fact, she's scheduled for her rabies shot tomorrow, then she's done for a year. Thank Goodness!
