A belly band is something to wrap around the waist of male dogs so when they lift their legs they will mark inside the band and not on everything else. You usually put a maxi pad in it to absorb the moisture. Here is a picture. All my males wear them.
I am confused about when you say he went # 2 in the belly band. Is is a different kind than this one that wraps around his butt too like a diaper?
